I am excited to report that for all our boutique customers, we have finally crashed into the 21st century with web-enabled ordering. No more telexes (!). Who would have thunk it?!

A big shout out to Adam and Eric at method who are celebrating 10 years in business. Hats off.
We like the way they roll. They have been super helpful to "g" over the years both in the US and more recently (like last night at the pub here in London with their fabulous Sarah) in the UK.

One of the most interesting people we met was Rene Carayol. Rene has a terrific breadth of experience in the business world having served on the Boards of Marks & Spencers and Pepsi among others. He was a mentor of Harvey, our most recent hire at gHQ when Harvey lived in London. Rene gave us fresh perspective on the UK market. It was great being with such a sharp, engaged mind.
We had back-to-back meetings each day and travelled as far north as Crewe (Home of Rolls Royce) and as far south as Micheldever, on the way to South Hampton. The £30 subway passes were our best investment and we got pretty good at racing around the underground. Kim replaced her gym workouts by just whipping up and down the stairs. Impressive given her heals!

We then went off to Sustain Magazine's Awards dinner and blow me down if gNappies didn't win "Product of the Year". We were stunned to say the least but made sure we had a beer (or two and some bubbly) to celebrate. Well worth getting the suit pressed for that one!

London is indeed calling. Kim, Jeff our COO and I are heading to London on Saturday. We launched gNappies late last year and are pretty happy with progress but there is always more to do.
In preparation, I watched Season 1 of The Tudors. I also caught The King's Speech.
I am now fully prepared to witness a lot of affairs, at least one beheading and an abdication.
Excitingly, we are up for the "New Product of the Year" award presented by Sustain Magazine. We are thrilled. And what makes it even better is the Awards dinner is on while we are there. So Jeff and I are packing suits with ties and everything. And Kim has a frock ready to go. It'll be just as much fun as the tea and crumpets we enjoyed at the House of Lords last time we were there!
Ebabee.co.uk seems to like gNappies. They say they have beauty and brains! I think I'd second that.
